Patrick was a well-known actor, singer, dancer, and songwriter who attained the status of a teen idol. He was nominated for a Golden Globe thrice for Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Road House, The Outsiders, and Point Break. In his personal life, he had experienced problems with his marriage due to his alcohol addiction, prompting him to check in at an alcohol rehab. To make things even more grim, in the early half of 2008, Patrick was detected with stage IV pancreatic cancer and was hospitalized with pneumonia a year later. He left for his heavenly abode on September 14, 2009, and he is seen taking a walk in this snap that was taken two weeks before he expired.
