After Four Long Years, Pop Icon Madonna Has Just Announced A New Album is in The Works!
Madonna has done it again! The evergreen singer is releasing a new album on June 14, 2019. The queen of pop had declared in 2018 that she was working on her 14th album. She has been involved in several other side projects but this has been her baby for about a year, and the good news is that the first song “Medellin” will be released on April 24. It is a collaboration with the Columbian singer Maluma, and we can’t wait to see what the queen has for us this time.
Madonna’s Instagram posts started appearing earlier this week. She posted a picture of a woman’s leg in fishnet and high heels. She called her Madame X and presented her in a mysterious aura. Here is what she posted, “Madame X is a secret agent traveling around the world. Changing identities. Fighting for freedom. Bringing the light to dark places. She is a cha-cha instructor. A professor. A head of state. A housekeeper. An equestrian. A prisoner. A student. A teacher. A nun. A cabaret singer. A saint. A prostitute.” That is truly intriguing, and we don’t want to wait anymore to find out how the tracks sound like.
Madonna’s last album was released in 2015, Rebel Heart. She went on a Rebel Heart tour in 2016 and also won the Billboard Woman Of The Year award in that same year. Despite being 60 years old now and almost approaching the age of retirement, Madonna doesn’t look old at all. She can easily look like a sister to her daughter, Lourdes. As for her music, she has enough of it left in her and we hope to get many more albums from her before she retires.
