Eva Mendes Talks About How Her Love For Ryan Gosling Made Her Serious About Having Kids
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling look stunning together as a couple. Whenever they appear at an event, their love is palpable, their chemistry undeniable. And we’re left feeling mushy because of the happiness they radiate. They are extremely cute and prove again and again that forever after is not totally impossible in Hollywood. They are parents to two cute kids now – Esmeralda and Amada. Eva admits that raising two toddlers can be terribly difficult, and she can handle it only because of the strong support system that she has. Her support system is made up of her mom, her mother-in-law, sister, and her sister-in-law. She acknowledges that women who do not have a similar support system might face greater difficulties in rearing kids. Despite how chaotic life seems to be with toddlers, Eva is immensely happy, and she has a group of women behind her.
However, Eva was not always ready for motherhood. Before meeting Ryan Gosling, she didn’t think of becoming a mother at all. She said, “It was the furthest thing from my mind. Ryan Gosling happened. I mean, falling in love with him. Then it made sense for me to have…not kids, but his kids. It was very specific to him.” Well, that’s what falling in love does to you. Despite being a hugely successful star herself, she loves to spend more time at home now, and we don’t blame her. Bringing up the kids can be challenging, but it is a challenge that she has readily accepted and wants to do her best in it.
As for now, she doesn’t want to introduce her kids to the whole stardom thing as she feels it can be quite overwhelming at times. All she wants is to give her kids a normal upbringing and be only their “mom.” The couple is parenthood goals for sure!
