People can feel anxious from time to time, it is perfectly normal especially if they feel a little too overwhelmed with a particular situation they are currently in or they could also feel anxious because they need to stand in front of other people. DO THE THINGS YOU LOVE
One of the best possible and natural ways to beat anxiety is to do those things that you have always loved. Anxiety can totally stress you out but remember that you are in control of your mind and body, so make the right choice by choosing to distract yourself and do the things that you have always enjoyed.
If you like playing a certain sport, call a friend or a family member and ask them to play with you, if you love watching movies, then go ahead and grab some popcorn. If you love outdoors then go out and walk your dog in the park. This way, you could manage your anxiety and make yourself feel better. It may only be for a short time but it is better than moping around.
RELAX BY BREATHING
Another amazing way to beat anxiety is to simply relax and focus on your breathing. Anxiety can make you feel extremely overwhelmed and it would cause you to panic in such a bad way, so you have to learn how to focus on your breathing. It is pretty easy actually.
Just make sure you are comfortable and let the air in slowly by inhaling through your nose and hold it for a few second theme exhale through your mouth slowly, then relax for a couple of seconds before doing it again. Make sure to keep your thoughts on your breathing.
WATCH SOMETHING FUNNY
Distraction is such a good way to relieve anxiety, one of the best ways to do it is to watch videos online of things that would make you laugh, it is very easy and it would definitely make you stop feeling anxious because you would forget about it since your focused on whatever you’re watching.
COUNT THE GOOD NOT THE BAD
Last but definitely not the least is to reflect. Identify the things that make you feel anxious, it is best to write it down. Then think of positive things you could’ve done. Like for instance, you feel anxious because you think you couldn’t stand in front of so many people, simply think things that would make you get over it like the sooner you do it the better, and that once you have done it, you’ll feel so relieved. It may not be that easy but think of all the positive outcomes.
Remember that these are just natural ways to beat anxiety, it is always best to see a doctor especially if you know that it is getting worse and that it is interfering with your daily life.
