Entering Motherhood: How Being A Mom Keeps Hoda Kotb Motivated And Happy All The Time

Hoda Kotb has been co-hosting the Fourth Hour of the Today show for a while now but started co-anchoring the entire show in 2018. She is a powerhouse of talent and energy, channeling all that in her talk shows. A breast cancer survivor, Kotb keeps herself motivated every single day. However, she admits that her journey as a mother has helped her to stay positive and gave her a new perspective on life. Though she became cancer-free, she couldn’t have children, so she adopted a girl child in 2017 instead. Her partner, Joel Schiffman, supported her throughout all this and finally, they had Haley with them on Valentine’s Day. She has been a blessing to them so far, and now, she has turned a big sister to their second adopted child – Hope. At 54, Hoda is finding out the many joys of motherhood and is thankful for her life.

Being a cancer survivor, Hoda has been through the worst and it wasn’t so easy for her to stay positive all the time, but she has her means. When she comes to work, the first thing she does is write down three things that she is grateful for and one good thing that has happened to her in the last 24 hours. By doing so, it gives her a reason to find something to be thankful for and happy about amid problems. Aside from this, her children play a big role in keeping things happy at home.

Now that her ardent wish of becoming a mother has been granted, we hope she stays well and keeps motivating us through the NBC Today show. Since she joined, the viewership has risen, so speaks volumes of how good she is with her job. Though being a mother of two small kids at the age of 54 is not easy, we are hoping the happiness all around her will help her stay on her feet.
