The Rise of Tiger Woods: How He Recovered After His Pitfalls And Made His Comeback

When Tiger Woods first started playing and winning championships one after another, he became a role model for thousands of his fans around the world. It was not just his wins that impressed people but also his modest demeanor, and his image of an ideal family man that made him more appealing to his fans. But things didn’t stay hunky dory for long because a decade back, Tiger Woods’s world was turned upside down. In 2008, Woods won his last major win, the U.S. Open, and many noticed that he was limping during the tournament. He had to go into surgery soon, and in 2009 around Thanksgiving, his personal life was in a mess. As reports came pouring in of his infidelity, he had to be taken down from the pedestal that his fans had put him on.

His behavior not only led to his painful divorce but also broke the hearts of his fans. Over a decade, he struggled to get back his mojo and his fans almost started believing that they will never see the older Tiger Woods ever again. But just recently, Tiger Woods seems to finally be back in his game. As fans worldwide rejoiced his Masters Tournament win, they could finally see their role model back to being who he was.

So how did this become possible? Countless injuries, surgeries, and his personal doubts had driven him to the edge and yet overcame it all by sheer grit. He realized that his workout routine had to change because of his age and the injuries that had affected him. One more thing that worked for him is co-parenting. Being a dad and getting to spend more time with his kids was a form of therapy for him. It was not like he was completely out of touch, but he wanted to win badly this time and has been preparing for it, too. Hence, victory was sweet. We would love to see him on a winning streak once again.
